Hello, Advocates! Happy New Year!
We hope you will help us kick off our 2019 year of advocacy for Dictionary Hill Open Space Preserve. 2018 was an incredible year and we are very proud of all we’ve accomplished~~ of course with the huge assistance of the County of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department.
Join us at 9:00 a.m. for coffee and refreshments and 9:30 a.m. for the meeting this Saturday, January 19th. We meet at the Rancho San Diego Association clubhouse at 10050 Austin Drive. Karen Gless and Karen Follingstadt are providing refreshments.
See you soon,
Sonya Heiserman

Dictionary Hill, originally known as Lookout Mountain, is a noted historical site. More than 150 years ago, Rufus King Porter, of of the founders of Spring Valley, climbed the mountain to see if the steamer had arrived before making the trip into Old Town to pick up mail and sell his produce. Today, from the top of Dictionary Hill, it is still possible to watch ships entering San Diego Bay. Let’s save this wonderful experience for our children.
