Brookside subdivision is one of the first major residential developments in the La Mesa – Spring Valley, California area. Annual Brookside Mega Neighborhood Garage Sale Every year in the first week of May the Brookside community has an Annual Neighborhood Yard Sale. All streets of Brookside participate including. Fairway, Birdie, Trophy, Niblick, Foursome, Link, Par, Turf, & Golf. Take Highway 94 or 125 to the Spring Street exit and drive on Broadway towards Lemon Grove and turn on Fairway Drive. You can Google 3743 Fairway Dr. La Mesa, CA 91941 for GPS to the entrance to the neighborhood. Days and times are Friday-Saturday-Sunday 6am – Dark. Saturday is the most POPULAR day! Many neighbors sell food and drinks so come Hungry! Many Signs will be posted early in the week prior on street corners near the neighborhood. This sale attracts a large crowd with lots of cars on the streets and many pedestrians. Be cautious with children.
