The County of San Diego Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk’s office is offering a new free service, Owner Alert, to notify the public via email when a document is recorded against their property (pursuant to a registered name and/or APN.)
The Recording Notification Service is available to alert subscribers when a document is recorded into the County of San Diego Official Records. If subscribed to Owner Alert, you will receive automated email alerts when a document is recorded containing the indexed name and/or Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) registered. This would include liens recorded and placed on your personal, business, and trust names that you register. You can register up to 10 different names and/or 10 APNs per registered email address. This service is free, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
This service only applies to documents recorded after your subscriber registration has been activated. You can search the County of San Diego Official Record index from 1970 to present using the link below:
