Enforces laws, codes, and regulations relating to manufactured housing, mobile home parks, and employee housing in California. The Mobilehome Ombudsman’s office serves as a State clearinghouse for complaints and helps to resolve those complaints from the public relating to manufactured homes and mobile homes, including, but not limited to, problems of titling and registration, installation, warranties, financing, sales, inspection of mobile home parks, mobile home accessories and improvements, and problems relating to the Mobile Home Residency Law (La Mesa office deals with mobile home registration and titling only).
