Thinking about selling?
Staging your home first could net you a bigger offer. Usually it is best to make your home like a clean neutral canvas that a prospective buyer can picture themselves in your home. So when it comes time to sell, it is helpful to think of how you feel when you walk-in to a new home builder subdivisions.
Notice how they stage their model homes. The home looks inviting and fresh with no clutter. The furniture and decor sets the tone of how the home builder wants you to feel if you were living in the home.
So after you have done a deep cleaning, maybe put a fresh coat of paint on some rooms, or changed out a broken light bulb in the bathroom, think of how you would feel in your home if it was staged like a new home builder.
Sometimes this is hard to see when you have been living in your home for years, so I help clients review their home and de-clutter before the sale. We can use items you already have or I’ll help you find the perfect stager to hire. If your home is vacant, I also offer FREE light staging with my staging items. Typically in the kitchen, bathrooms and a little bit in the living room and bedrooms.
