A fresh coat of paint is an easy way to brighten up your house and increase curb appeal. Which of these options would you choose? I have a pretty nice wooden door at my house. I took it off the brass hinges, which were nice quality, however I wanted to match my metals with rubbed bronze finish hardware. I then sanded and stripped the door and have painted it a couple of time. I have also bought new weather stripping. The door is still working well, but truthfully it probably would have been better to buy a new door after all the time and money I have spent painting it. I still might like to replace the door with some glass window in it, however I know people like privacy, so I would have curtains over the window or maybe tint it to see only out one way.
